My favorite TV show

Throughout my life I have watched so many shows and series, of many different themes and topics. I enjoy a wide variety of them, but out of all I have watched, my favorite is, without any doubt, Avatar: The Last Airbender. I really like it for many reasons. To get started, the animation of the show is beautiful and has aged very well, perfectly mimicking movements used in martial arts, and it’s theme is quite interesting too, how a 12 year old pacifist must stop a war that has spanned 100 years.  I particularly enjoy shows and series that handle dangerous and intriguing themes, however, I like them even more when the way they tell the story is not completely serious, being able to slip humorous and weird scenes without breaking the atmosphere of the episode, or maybe even have the whole show as a comedy that deep down touches serious adult themes, like Seinfeld for instance. And while I have watched a lot of stuff in my life, there still are a couple of shows I have not seen at a

My future job.

Jobs having to do with medicine have always been of my interest, however, I am not very good at interacting with strangers, that is why I would not like to be a doctor. Instead, I would like to work studying medicine rather than applying it, working in a lab to learn about diseases and how to cure them. I suppose that job has to be hard and tiring, but it is something that really gets all of my attention, not only because I would love to help with the progress of medicine, but also to travel around the world and participate in many conferences. Salary is not something that worries me much, if I am stable, I will be happy.   That is why I am currently studying biochemistry. The career itself has many possibilities in many fields, but the medicine field of biochemistry is what interests me. Thanks to talks and classes with my biochemistry teachers, I learned that immunology is an actual specialization that focuses on the study of the immune system and different diseases, like genetic

My favorite movie.

Picking a favorite movie is not easy for me, since I enjoy a lot of different kind of movies, of many different genres. But if there is one movie that has won my heart, it is Lord of the Rings, Return of the King. It is the perfect conclusion to my favorite movie saga, giving it an epic and satisfactory conclusion, using situations that bring many different emotions such as fear, nervousness, anxiety and joy. Fantasy has always been my first choice when it comes to movie genre, being a fan of epic battles, large scale conflict, and the use of magic, ancient artifacts, and other items of that style. And speaking of fantasy, I have just recently watched The Wizard of Oz, a very old movie that has not aged well when it comes to visuals, but it’s story, music and general setting end up being quite entertaining, being easy to understand how it became an all-time classic. I fully recommend watching it, if the old school makeup, effects and quality are not a big annoyance for you at all.

The best holidays!

It is hard for me to forget how fun it was when I travelled all the way to the north of Chile back in 2015. More specifically, I went to Arica, however, I ended up going back to Iquique since I had some family there. I stayed there for just a week, though the car trip there took a lot of time, 28 hours to get there, and other 28 to get back to Santiago! I went there with my parents and two younger sisters, staying together in our family’s house. Since we did not really know the place, most of the time we just traveled around randomly with the hopes of finding interesting places, though we would just end up in the local beach every day. But I really remember this trip because I got to see some of the most beautiful environments in the country, such as the night in Atacama desert, where you can perfectly see all the stars of the sky, and the Desert Bloom, making the desert turn colorful with so many flowers.
